A Meet 'n Greet is scheduled to be held at Neuwirth Motors on College Road in Wilmington on Saturday July 24 at 11 am. Details are incomplete, but the meet is to kick off the Charter Group of the Coastal Carolina PT Cruisers sponsored by Neuwirth, a Five Star Chrysler-Jeep dealer. Neuwirth is contacting and inviting ALL of their previous PT buyers by mail and will be doing advertising as well. This dealer wants to do a big PT event but wants to SEE just how much interest there is first in the Wilmington area.
Neuwirths is located across from Jeff Gordon Chevolet, and just down the street from UNCW, and the shopping and restruant districts. I-40 ends and turns into Hwy 132 which turns into College Road.

We will be there. Tim has friends he wants to visit with also. What is the closest hotel? The Fairfield I know is near Jeff Gordon Cheverolet. ( I had to stay there for my previous job for a few days) Is that the closest to the dealership?

Anne, the Fairfield is right accross the street. A little info for you and anyone else staying overnight.
Comfort Inn 910-7914841 next door

These are just a few, there are very many here.
All of the above are close to the dealership and about 5 to 10 minutes from the beach.

Thanks Tony. I'll check the web and call around tomorrow. Since it's so close we will probably opt for the Comfort Inn. I call and see if they offer any deals....

We are booked.....
I called the Comfort Inn Next to the Chrysler Dealership. They would not come down any less than the internet price which was $89.95. So Me and the Mr. have our reservations confirmed. The lady told me rooms were going fast for that weekend. Now I gotta find a Pug sitter......

Update:
Each participate will get a Dash Plaque, Hot Dogs and Sodas provided, Air Conditioning just a few feet away.
The Meet'n Greet will last from 11 am to 2 pm unless we have an outpouring of the public, then maybe an hour or so more. Would also like to do a convoy around Wilmington to the beach to wrap it up.
We hope you can attend.

The convoy can go downtown by the river too. There you can get a glimpse of the USS North Carolina and if you have a shopping bug you will be close to the Cotton Exchange and other downtown shopping.

Sandy and I plan to be there.Don't know with one car or two.That isTBA. Tony and Wally if you need help we plan to be there thursday nite,to visit with the in-laws so i can help on friday if needed.
