Tom,
You are correct that the rest area is where 24 & 40 intersect. It is very close to 60 miles from the dealer. When you just get into Wilmington I40 ends and becomes College Road. You will go thru three lights ( be sure to stop if they are red though) and at the 4th light you can do a U turn and be in front of the Dealership.
Really looking forward to seeing all you guys, and I am sure the Dealership will be impressed with all your Cruisers.

For your info: I just made reservations for the Comfort Inn with Choice Hotels 1-800 2212222 and they said that they have a few rooms open, if you have a Sam's card and stay two nights for $84.95 per night. I should get there sometime around 5 on friday . I like BEER ALSO!!!!

Tim and I are coming down Friday but instead of staying at the hotel as planned his friends want us to stay with them. So I guess I'll see you all on Saturday at the Dealership. Tim and his buddies are going to go play golf. Then we have plans with them for the afternoon and evening. I'm glad that the dealership is going to see such a larg turn out. Will be there with our new POPTOPPT, tried to talk the in-laws into driving the 01 down so we would have two there. Oh well. were coming down Sat caravan with the in-laws so I don't know how long it will take. They sometimes don't like my speed. Tonight I have to polish again cause it rained bad yesterday. Won't be able to stay long have family to visit in Carolina Beach then were staying on Oak Island, Can't wait

Hey Steve, hook up with Tom and meet us at the rest area on I-40 outside of Wilmington. John and I are picking up Rocky and maybe another PT or 2 near Newton Grove. Hopefully will be there around 9ish. Frank

Gonna rain, all that washing for nothing. I'm still going. We may not be able to do that part. We have to check into our condo on oak island so we may go there first. My in-laws our bringing there car also. The convertible just isn't as comfortable on long rides for a large family of four. Will see how it goes may meet ya'll yet. Nineish might work. We go right by the dealership on the way to the condo. First outing for the convertible.

Thanks Tony for having us. It was a great meet and I loved seeing the big turn out. I think at one time I counted 35 Cruisers parked out front.
Can not wait for next year!
