Should have called or stopped by. We try not to go downtown for the fireworks. Usually we can see most of them from our house. That, along with all the fireworks the neighbors put up gives us a fairly good show.

I'll be there, forth weekend in a row, Roanoke,Carlisle,Savannah and Wilmington don't know if Annie can handle back to back events !!!!!!  |

OK OK..... The mapping software says it's only 398.4 miles..... count me in! I have my reservations at the Comfort Inn and should be arriving Friday afternoon. I sure hope somebody has a cold beer ready after that long haul! See all y'all soon! [/color]

For those of us going down Sat morning, is there any interest in meeting on I40 and cruising in as a group?
There is a rest area on 40 about 45 mins out of Wilmington, that is in the "median",between the east and west bound lanes. I believe it's where NC 24 crosses I40. We could meet about 9:30, leave at 10:00 and roll into to Wilmington together about just before 11:00.
Anyone up for meeting there Sat. morning?

John and I will be leaving Saturday morning. We are going down 421 to 64 then to 40. We can meet you there. Just gotta figure out what time we need to leave to meet you all there by 10:00. I'll let John figure that one out, he's got the computer with the GPS.
