took me 5 times to finally kick the habit...am totally convinced that quitting a cocaine addiction would had been easier! ;D

GREAT JOB TOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My dads partner had smoked for 60 yrs before he gave it up .
One day had a smoke and said I'm finished and quit that day cold turkey. so GET RRRRRRRRRR DONE TOM !!!

Congrats to both Tom and Wally. It is not just quitting, it is a life change. You will both be happier and add years to your life. And about the challenge to Rick and Becky, when they are ready, they will quit. Everybody has their own time and reasons for doing this, just think about what it took for you to quit.
Me, I've been smaoke free for about 17 years now. Only problem I have had is that food tastes so much better now and I have put on about 50 extra pounds.
Again, Congrats to both of you!!

Thanks Tony. I can already tell a difference in the way I feel (breathe), but with the "added years" I am reminded of a cartoon sent out a couple of days ago. Almost enough to make me go back tp smoking Actually I was trying to be encouraging, not challenging. ;D |
