With the shape of world as it is, raising children can be rather scary....
And many have different views of the military....
But when you watch you oldest son, stand with his right hand held high, taking the same oath you took 30 years ago.....
it makes you a proud dad
Chris joined the US Army yesterday and will leave June 19 for Ft Benning, GA.
And when your son, has the heart, courage, drive and determination to join to become a member of the elite Army Rangers it make you a....
DAMN PROUD DAD!
And I just had to share it! ;D

Congrats Tom & Triste. May God watch over him and keep him safe.
Susie and I have commented quite a few times on how mannerly and nice your children are. You two do good work!

Wally, Somehow I knew this would get your attention ;D Chris has really felt for sometime that this was his calling, and part of my duty in that was to be sure (as much as a civilian dad could) that he truly understood.... Both the sacrifices and determination it would take to make it, and the honor it would be to make it. And the rich history and traditions he would become a part of. Chris sends you a heartfelt, " HOOAH! " ;D
