Well you'll never guess whats happened to OLE BLUE. No Not a tree this time, but it still sucks bad.I was at work when Chris calls and tells me somethings happened to the PT. I think she got hit or so on.... well in all actuallity the PT was sitting in the driveway and the Moonroof exploded up thats right up! Glass all over the inside and a big A** hole when my glass used to be. So it's now panic time to find one and get it in before it rains not to mention the Zoo cruise.

Dang..never heard of a moonroof just exploding. I hate that.
Had an Olds many years ago that the back window just exploded out of the car when the rear defroster was turned on.

Rocky, that sucks. I've heard of that happening one other time at one of the Yahoo groups I visit.
Go to the link below and read message #745 and the replies to it. Or do a search in the archives for "sunroof". It's open to the public, no need to join. Hope it helps.
autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/ptcruisercustomizersclub/
Changing the subject, I saw a CCPT group at Yahoo too. Never knew that. Is anyone a member there?

Why Moonroof Explodes (Well Known Explanation)
There is a very well known reason why your moonroof would explode while nobody is in the vehicle. This has been known for many many years, published around the world and posted on forums everywhere.
Chrysler, Ford, GMC, Toyota, Datsun and more have known this and do nothing to alert the public!!! If you own a small car (compact) although it has happened to very large vehicles (vary rare, usually to very large people that own them) when you and your spouse or companion travel for a length of time (mainly in the summer when it is hot!!) even for a short time 30 to 45 minutes, although it usually will happen when you travel for extended times like 2 hours or more. During your trip you get hungry and you stop at a convenient place to eat (usually someplace like Taco Bell ) There you will eat such foods as Pinto Beans, (other foods cause the same problem) ( check the food chain and the FDA) that cause a problem with the human body. This usually happens to men for some reason, ( vary rarely happens to women!! Although I have heard of this happening to them also) a chemical imbalance will occur inside the body. When you finally finish your trip and you go to get out of the vehicle, you have been holding back on a certain feeling going on in your body for quite awhile (you are not quite sure just how this reaction might happen!!! Loud or just hiss!! ). Just before you get out of your vehicle ( you wait for your spouse or companion to exit first, so they won’t notice!!) Real quick you relieve yourself with this very large amount of GAS!!! And you get out real quick (even though you really don’t mind your own gas!!!) (you never tell anybody that!!, but everybody knows that your own gas never smells like anybody else’s and really is not that bad!!) Anyway, what happens is that this gas (now that is trapped in your vehicle with all the windows up and the moonroof closed, the sun shinning down will heat up the air in the small space). The gas that you had to relieve is already warm ( it won’t take long for the sun to really heat it up) you know what hot air and gases do when heated, Hot air expands and rises to the top, pressure builds and BOOM!!! There goes the moonroof!!!!
Now you think that you have a problem cleaning everything up ( the glass and all) and you need to get a new moonroof real quick before the ZOO Cruise. But what you don’t realize is!!!, you have a much bigger problem!!!! You will find out soon or maybe Rick Flow will fill you in. Rick and I have discussed this before!!. ( How about it Rick , let everybody know what other problems they will really have!!!)
