Since I ordered my PT because the dealers didn't have any, I had to pay sticker price. So maybe PT stands for "Paid To much."

Actually, I think it's roots go back farther to "Plymouth Truck" as it was originally to be a Plymouth not to tarnish the Chrysler brand....at least that's the way I heard it....who knows, may be correct.
