Kind of confused - Route 66 starts in Chicago, what's it got to do with Viriginia???

I think it refers to Interstate 66 that runs across northern Virginia.

Route 66 does goes west. Their club name is a play on words. They are based in Northern Virginia where INTERSTATE 66 runs. I-66 and Route(highway) 66 are two different roads.
Interstate 29 runs from Kansas City up through the Dakotas into Canada but Highway 29 is the main drag through Charlotte.
And more confusing....Interstate 85 runs through Atlanta and so does Highway 85. Two different roads.

Go to Northern VA they have addresses with the same street name & number but different zip codes and only 2 or the blocks apart so that will really confuse a GPS
