Hey guys. I am new to the forum and have a question/concern about my "05 2.4L Turbo GT that just had an engine rebuild. I have just gone thru a break in period where I did not push the car too much. Everything seems to be strong but on heavy quick acceleration, I hear the valves...almost sounds like a rattlesnake but goes away after a minute. The idle is a bit rough, but have been told to replace the spark wires which was not done on the rebuild. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance. Love this car and want to do it right this time.

Welcome Gurry! We have a few very PT knowledgeable people in here that I'm sure will soon respond. What area do you live in?

Sounds like spark knock to me. Make sure you run the higher octane fuel to get the most out of the GT boost levels, especially in the summer. Higher octane fuel is better for higher boost.
Welcome! Tell us a bit about yourself and your car. Post pics or it's 39 lashes with a wet noodle...on your windshield.
