Anyone have or had a cracked dashboard? I don't know if it is worth replacing or just covering. Seems this is a common problem among the PT Cruiser bloggers. Hubby found a cover at Stockinteriors.com that doesn't look bad. Wanted to find out if anyone has covered or replaced their cracked dashboard.

Thank you!! I will check this out. I have dark taupe for the dash so I will have to see if the dark brown will be a decent match.

I had mine crack also got worse the longer I left it till it finally cracked almost in two pieces so had to replace it and it was around 150$ and for the life of me can't recall the site I got it from but will look for it.

yes i did it myself not hard to do took about 30 minutes start to finish still looking for link

It's not hard at all. I've had the one out in Tim's car a bunch. Maybe if we can ever get a tool time together, you can come and have someone swap it for you.

A cruiser from Star City PT Cruiser Club gave me the name of a guy who parts out PT's. He called me today and said he got a dash in that was my color and if I could come out today, he would install it for me for $5!! I was so excited I rushed right out there. If anyone needs any parts or any work done on a PT (I guess he does just about everything from install engines, trannies to paint jobs), I would recommend Denny's PT Cruiser Parts in Kannapolis.

Thanks to everyone for your help on this. Now I need to find someone who is getting rid of a piece of TFP wheel well trim. I scraped the side of my garage door entrance a little too close. Don't ask me how, but I did and luckily no damage to the car itself but it ripped off my driver's side trim. :-( I hate to have to buy 4 pieces to get 1 as the others are in great shape.

Glad he gave you a good price but he wanted 50% higher than new from dealer for a USED fog light bezel
