Still a proud dad...

Some of you may recall a blog thread several years ago as a proud dad with his son Chris joining the Army and becoming a Ranger. Still proud of him as he prepares to leave the Rangers and go to FT Bragg to train as a Special Forces Medic.

Equally proud of his "little" brother Michael who will leave this week to follow that leading and also become an Army Ranger!

Wow, I've now got three nephews and a cousin who have all joined up.

The adventure continues as Michael has passed selection and been assigned to 2nd Bat. 75th Ranger Regiment and will moving to FT Lewis, WA this week.

Kind neat, attended his graduation Thursday and the speaker was Matt Eversmann. If the name doesn't ring a bell, you might remember a little film about a mission of his, Blackhawk Down.
