Many years ago, we were having a PT meet n greet off Harris Blvd and Ronnie Sox stopped by. He had a red PT and was at the University Hilton for some sort of award thing. He was on his way back to Richmond. He only stayed a few minutes but it was very cool that he stopped. He passed away in 2006 so it had to be in 2004 or 2005 that we met him.

As a teen I'd watch Ronnie drive at the track in Suffolk, VA. Some years later as a cop at the beach I got to know his first wife, who ran a little motel, and son Jeff. Got chance to meet Ronnie there and talk with him several times. Last time I saw/spoke with him was 2002 when he was inducted in the East Coast Drag Times Hall of Fame. www.eastcoastdragtimeshalloffame.com/ Nice guy
