My light has gone out on my shifter console...anyone know how to go about removing and replacing it? bulb number might help too!

OK...got the bulb replaced BUT I can NOT for the life of me reinstall the center console back onto the floor! The holdup is I can't slide the piece down far enough to get the emergency brake handle thru the opening.....HELP!!!!!  |

Sorry no one replied, I suppose none of us have run across something like that and hope we don't. Sounded like a bear of a job.

Luckily I had a service manual here, even then it required a LOT of elbow grease and some choice 4 letter words!!!
