Hey gang,
I'm going to be spending the new year (hopefully!) modding up the ol' GT. As I'm in Charlotte I was wondering if anyone either just knew of, or better yet - recommend - a local speed shop or parts place that could handle custom work. I'm looking for ordering pre- fab performance parts (along with some installations, perhaps) as well as maybe custom-fabricating exhausts or other parts. Along the same lines, I've never had to have any aftermarket parts painted before, so I was wondering if y'all had any recommendations whenever I get around to 'glassing.
Sorry for all the questions, I'm just new in this arena (at least in this city) and need some first-hand advice.
Ever since I traded in the ol' lifted Grand Cherokee, 4Wheel Parts is just a memory
Traveling to any surrounding cities won't be too much of an issue, in case someone knows of something a bit aways.
Any and all input or suggestions is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance! ;D

Used to be "Ace Speed Shop", don't know what it changed it's name to. May still be Ace. They were about the only ones around. Some smaller ones have popped up around and I think they specialize like in Japanese cars.

Mike is listed under the members tab up above on this page. His email address is not shown as private. He goes by the name of "rednblack". Click on it below and it should take you there if I did it right. REDNBLACK

Thanks Rick! Turns out Ace is still up and running and literally right around the corner from my wife's work! Regarding Mike's E-mail address, I think I may be going nuts, but didn't you have a post just prior to your last one? I think you told me what connection RednBlack had w/Cruisers. But now that post is gone? As a reminder, does Mike have his own shop, or does he know someone who might do a lot of work w/Cruisers? Although Ace is certainly more convenient, I'd much rather keep my business in CPTC family so to speak, even if it means heading up to Huntersville. And thanks again for the suggestions! Oh, and just to clarify, I'm not in immediate need for any work, I'm just trying to plan ahead (darn Boyscout training!) By the way, for some reason, I'm feeling a revised version of Toby Keith's song coming on... "Mmmmmm, I love this board!" ;D

You're not going nuts, Wally had a post between my two posts, he must have deleted it. Mike does not have a speed shop or PT shop of his own. I know some of his work has been done through his friends at AudioMasters on South Blvd in Charlotte. You will need to talk with him on specifics.
