I was wondering if there would be any interest in meet-n-greet at Black Mountain. There is a great mexican restaurant called Ole's Guacamoles. They are moving to a new location next to the Super 8 motel. I was thinking July 10 or 17?

I'm all for it, Black Mtn is a neat little place. We have nothing on the calendar yet for July or August. Actually going to try and get a group together to tour the Nascar Hall of Fame in Charlotte. Thought about July for that. It's inside and air conditioned.

We'll be going through Ashville area on Sat. June 19th. On the way to Wears Valley TN (Pigeon Forge) for some R&R. 3 days in a log cabin overlooking the valley. This is the first real mountain trip in Mil's Vert. Can't wait.
Anything goin on in the Ashville area on the Sat. 19th? We could stop by there and go on up on Sunday.
Just wondering.

Parker Not that I know of, There is a car show in Newton NC which is off of 321 near Hickory. It is 1.5 hrs east of Asheville. There will some PTers there |

Be sure to stop by the "Farmers Market" in Asheville on the way to TN. Nice place, lots of stuff there.

Thanks for the tips. We may hit the market. We'll probably go through Maggie and over the Smokies to Gatlinburg. Has I-40 been cleared from the last landslide, in case we run late and need to go that way? Likely to happen if Millie gets into a market with lots of "stuff"!!!! At least the Vert has limited space and we don't have a trailer!! God is GOOD!

If you go thru Maggie, head on to Cherokee and take Smokey Mountain Parkway to Gatlinburg

I-40 is open as well but only one lane for a short distance west bound. We had no problem going to Gatlinburg a few weeks ago.

We usually go through Cherokee and over the Smokies to Gatlinburg. We'll probably spend Sat nite in Maggie, then go over Sun am since the cabin check in is Sun nite. That'll give Millie more time to clean out the market in Ashville. Is there a trucking co near the market to ship her "stuff" home?  Thanks yall.
