Wife's base model vert has cloth seats. Rinsing pine pollen off her new baby, she discovered a window down slightly and a seat sprinkled. Now there' a stain from plain water! Anyone experienced this? Anything to clean the seats with that will remove the stain and not make it worse? Make me a HERO, yall!!LOL.

Wish I could help but never heard of water staining a seat. Haven't a clue as to what will help.

I imagine some of that pollen got in with the water and thats why it stained. I have the cloth seats in my convertible too and seems any dampness will make it do that..either from what came in with the water, rain, etc, or from the dust and stuff thats already on the seat that we aren't noticing. I use turtle wax's interior cleaner (with the little scrubby thing on the cap) and then use a white towel to clean it off...I've learned the trick is to wipe off the dirty suds and be careful not to rub it back in.
