If it's like the 03-05 cars, there is a clamp in front of the rear axle that allows you to pull off the rear section of the exhaust. It may take some wiggling to get it off, along with the two rubber hangars. Just don't run it with the rear section removed or you will have hot exhaust gasses being shoved right toward your fueltank.

i was thinking aout that..but in the future im going to get a roll pan..so im thinking about like getting a shorter muffler and a turn down so the exhaust will be hidden...but was just wanting some sound for now..could i like fit a flowmaster or something from autozone onto it or would i get the rice sound?

I agree with Rocky. We have repalced probably 10 stock exhaust syatems. I recommend getting one (Borla or Bassani). I have both and feel the least hassle is with one of those systems. They work with any roll plan, and simply bolt to existing brackets. The additional right side pipe requires installing another hanger (included). There are many on Ebay at good prices. I's check there. good luck.

A full service muffler shop can make what you want and install for around $300 - $350. They just need to have the computer bending equipment to make the exhaust pipes conform to the underneath of the car. If you are looking for the Borla, etc. performance features/claims you will have to shell out much more. The "Heartthrob" Brand Dual System has a "throaty" sound, but is not loud. It can be bought online. I have had that system on mine since 2001.
