Well, I used to attend these in Dallas, TX, Vegas, and went to a couple in Cali, now they have them here at Northlake Mall! I hadn't even heard they'd moved this far east. Anyway, this is held the first Saturday of every month from 9 to 11 and usually attracts the wildest of cars of all kinds. I plan on being there tomorrow for brunch, it's at Pannera Bread in front of the mall. It's usually a real hoot and you get to meet a lot of "interesting" people. If there is any interest, I'd say let's meet there at 8:30 a.m. so we can park together??? Link to the Charlotte Chapter - charlotte.carsandcoffee.info/Directions to the meet - charlotte.carsandcoffee.info/directions.phpIf you are interested, text me at 206-407-4701 or email me at ptcruiser @ hugginsnet.com (take out the spaces around @!). I've already spoken with Alvin from QueenCity Cruisers and he's going to be there, hopefully he'll bring along other members too. Would be nice to have a bunch of PT's there.

It was a glorious day, if a bit hot on the ashpalt, but many beautiful cars. Three PT's total, mine plus Alvin and Bob, from Queen City Cruisers. Wish more could have made it, was a quite nice day, will post some pics soon.

They have a similar event at the Brier Creek Shopping center in Raleigh on the first weekend of the month. I went yesterday with my boys. We saw Ferraris (308, 599, 348, 355 even a rare 308gt4), Lamborghini Gallardo spyder, New Camaro RS/SS (already had intake, headers and exhaust), Porsche Boxsters, 944, 928, 911s, Mitsu EVOs (one running 27psi boost), no-good-ricer S2000s, Corvettes, my neighbor's 1500HP twin turbo Viper(!), Mercedes, BMW m3s, Several MGs, Triumphs, Minis. Lots 'o cars! Also, several Ducattis and Buell bikes. Oh and one geeky fella with an electric blue PT GT . Brian

This is held the first Saturday of every month. I'm making it my regular monthly reason to wash and wax the PT...lol... you can get a map to the location and see more about this event at charlotte.carsandcoffee.info/ . It's rapidly gaining in popularity, and while it says 9 - 11a.m. it's more like 7:30 to whenever. Many get there early to get good spots. There were a couple of car clubs there, the largest was the Mini-Coopers. They had a fairly large showing. I had a hoot. Was kind of hot, but so were the cars! I was surprised by the amount of interest the PT"s got up there. Along with driving through the crowd and hearing a couple of "aw, come one!" and "you gotta be kidding" comments, but they shut up later on when I played around with a couple of guys in Mini's behind the mall. Was a great time! Bumped into a firend of mine showing his Bimmer... met up with two guys from the Queen City Cruisers and planned on meeting up next month for the same event. Hope we can get more from our clubs. Still found good parking at 9am, but across the lot from the "main event". Had a nice brunch there, great coffee at the host restaurant's...

Tom, It's the first Saturday of every month 9am -11ish. Come on out! There are some amazing cars tucked away in garages here in Wake and Durham counties. It's right at the intersection of Hwy 70 and I-540 on the south side of 70. Coming off of 70 headed toward Raleigh, hang a right at the light into Brier Creek. Take the second left entrance into the place, then right at the first intersection. You'll see them.
