We only had three classes Stock, Modified and Wild. In assigning the ranks we felt most were modified in some way. However we chose those closest to Stock to be in the Stock Category, to even out the chances of a trophy.
The (we) I speak of is Myself, Shane and Shaun. So any complaints can be directed to me. We three however did discuss each car instead of just placing all of them in Modified. Jac (Santa) had the most Stock car there since he has not had the opportunity to add any bling or performance items yet. Judging was done by the Z Club next to us and they Picked what they liked there were no points involved it was strictly the ones they liked best.
Wild had the least amount of cars, Stock Next, and most were in Modified.
Not sure what determines the amount of Trophies that the PT Cruisers get from the Speedway. I do know that we Carolina PT Cruisers had 30 spots that were cut to 20 for yesterday's show. It could very well be cut again since we only had 16 show up.

yea...what Anne said...LOL We needed to spread out the cars we had amongst the categories we were given...and it just made sense to have some of the cars that still had a basically stock look be in the stock category...otherwise almost all of us would have been under modified. It was a judgement call in the name of fairness..and I take the blame with Anne! LOL

I am not complaining just trying to understand the placement of cars. Every year I get more and more confused because it changes. I guess I will never understand how it works. It was just a question. Thanks for trying to clearify my confused brain.

Robin, these are great pictures. Did you put them on your website like this? would I be able to get copies? You are so creative with your pictures. Thanks, Lisa Yes they are, they are cut down to I think 780 pixels wide, and if anyone wants the originals in 10 megapixels I have those too. I usually do some color correcting, lighting corrections, clarify, stuff like that before I cut them down so that they are of more appropriate size for the web. You can find my albums at www.hugginsnet.com/photoalbum then go down to the bottom left and click on PT Cruiser, then you'll see all the albums for the PT's. I'm moving all my photos over slowly so lots of older shows will soon be posted there too. Hopefull I'll have some videso up there too, got some great vods from some of our past cruises. Below the photo there's a box that says to click on the file name to download. Feel free to take copies of any that you may want. Online they show a copyright stamp, but the photo you download will not have that, I've left them so that you guys can do with as you wish. Oh, also, for any members here, if you have a nice photo of your PT you'd like to have me play with, just email me the photo and I'll show you some of the "artistic license" we can take with a photo. I'm always playing with that stuff, couple of examples here: My other brother Daryl's cruiser - Air brush and Ink drawing: A little reverse night vision: My own vision of Miss B's PT - I call it Patriotic Vanilla... love her pt... Anyway, I gotta get a life, it's always fun doing these photos.
