Just wanted to let you performance minded folks here know that one of the folks on PTCrew, who is an SCTFlash distributor, is offering a 93 Octane High Performance tune along with an XCal2 OBD2 programmer for $175 shipped for a limited time. His name is Josh and he goes by "SebringLX" on www.ptcrew.com.
What is it?
A device that allows you to load a different software image into your PCM (engine computer). It can store up to 3 tunes in addition to the stock tune. Josh is supplying a tune he developed along with the device, so there are no trips to a tuning shop, which could cost much more than the device itself. This tune was developed on a PT Turbo and is a safe, conservative tune with good Air/Fuel ratios for all 03-05 PT Turbo cars. The XCal2 unit itself usually costs ~$450 street price without any tunes. We are being offered the device plus one custom tune for $175. Cheaper than Stage 1 by far. You do not need a Stage 1 pcm to use this. Josh does recommend the Stage 1 fuel injectors for the 2003 cars, but he can do a tune for the stock injectors as well.
See www.sctflash.com/DCXC2.php
What does it do?
Gives the PT Turbo better performance than the stage 1 upgrade from Mopar. It allows the factory drivability but includes crisper performance over and above that of Stage 1. This new tune actually uses Stage 1 as a starting point and, for Automatic cars, includes the improved shift quality of the Stage 1 tune that makes the 41TE transmission a much cleaner, less slushy feeling unit.
Where do I get it?
Contact Josh(SebringLX) at ptcrew.com or send me a PM and I'll send his email address to you.
I'm not making anything on this deal, I just thought some folks here would like to know that you have some options other than Stage 1 from Mopar.

Thanks,
Brian
P.S. I have a unit on order. I'll post the results when I get it sometime next week.
