3rd Annual Car and Truck Show

Hello everyone,

My church's third annual car show is this coming Saturday, June 6. For those interested in attending we will be meeting at the same spot this year on Startown Road just off of Highway 321.

For those unfamiliar:

Going north on Highway 321 from the Gastonia area get off on the Startown Road exit. Take a right at the top of the ramp and we will meet at the Exxon gas station just up the road on the right.

Going south on Highway 321 from the Hickory area get off on the Startown Road exit. Take a left at the top of the ramp and we will meet at the Exxon gas station just up the road on the right.

I am planning on leaving that location at approximately 8:30. It will take us about 10-15 minutes to drive to the show. Registration for the show starts at 9:00.

We would have loved to be there but we committed to the Mopar show in Tennessee. Hey Dwight talk those in power to move it back a weekend next year.

Congratulations to Brandy...she got the top PT award at the show today! Taylor(driving Mikes car) and I took home top 40 awards! We first met Brandy at the WalMart in Shelby when we both happened to be shopping one day..I was checking out her car when she came out with supplies to a car show the Boyds were about to go to. The Boyd family has become particulaly good friends to us, and we are very grateful that we met them(in a WalMart parking lot of all places) Its amazing to me how a car can bring people together and be the start of great friendships. Thank you Boyd family for taking us under your wings! Shaun and I both cherish your friendship!
