I would say yes, it would work. They list it fitting 2001 and up. The PT did not come with a turbo in 2001 or 2002. It says it's "tuned" for the GT which may just be an internal baffle thing, so it could be a little on the loud side for non-turbo cars.

That's the system that I've had on my GT for about 5 years and I LOVE IT! Don't see any reason why it would not work on a non turbo. The major plus with this product is 'stainless steel'.

I think it will fit too , just make sure that when you or whoever installs it cuts the bumper for the tailpipe they they leave a little extra room around it, will more around a little bit which I had fixed at a local muffler shop by welding rod to the pipe after I installed mine.

The exhaust system will fit perfectly, but as others have said, it might be a lot louder on a non-turbo car. The turbo charger on the turbo cars muffles the exhaust some before it gets to the rest of the system, so they are able to open up the exhaust for better flow. On a non-turbo car, the exhaust spits right out of the engine and down the pipes unrestricted (except for the catalytic converter) and it could get loud or drone at certain rpms. Our cars typically have droning problems right at cruise rpms in aftermarket higher flow systems. Gets annoying on long trips.

I didn't have this particular system on mine but the first one I had on my PT (non-turbo) was absolutely deafening at approx 2800 rpm and up. Everything rattled and buzzed. And yes, turbo's are muffled a bit by the turbo itself and it;s even possible to run a turbo car with no muffler at all (I wouldn't) but some do. So if this is tuned for a turbo, be prepared for the noise.
