Is anyone planning on going to the car show(on the calander www.carolinaptcruisers.com/BessCityCarshow08.jpg ) in Bessemer City on Sat. July 12th? If so, post here so I can get a count and try to get us parked together. This is only a $10 entry fee show with the proceeds going to the Shriners Hospitals. I think everyone that came last year had a good time(except for the fire ants...). They are giving out top 25 and I think there are 6 of the $50 cash giveaways (not sure about a 50/50) Mike |

They'll be glad to have all that can make it! As far as I know we will take both cars. One of us might have to arrive late. Taylor has to go to Columbia, SC that morning for some initial strength testing for the Marine Corps. Not sure exactly what time he will be back.

Mike let us know if you want us to meet you there or somewhere before so we can cruise in together. We'll be bringing both cars more than likely.

Anne, if you and Tim want to, we can meet at the Bojangles at I85 and Hwy 274(West Gastonia / Bessemer City exit) let's say about 4 to 4:15? When you exit I85 from the north, turn left at the light and Bojangles is on the left at the next light.
If that's not the way you are coming in just let me know and we'll meet somewhere else.

Had a great time at the Bessemer City car show. Enjoyed seeing everyone that showed up! There were some AWESOME cars and trucks there including a 2009 Hemi Challenger(...drool, ...drool) It was mighty hot and humid but the canopies helped a good bit. Great time, great cars, great friends, great food...what more could you ask for? Congratulations Shane for the Top 25! Ain't it nice to take a knife to a gunfight and come out a winner? Hope to see our friends at Huntersville next Sunday.
