Anyone know how to safely remove the stock automatic shift knob and button for an '05 auto-stick car? PTDIY advises to simply remove the knob's setscrew (only) - but this doesn't seem to free the button, which prevents removing the knob. I'd like to install an aftermarket knob & button, but don't want to damage the OEM ones.
