My PT goes in Tuesday for a new Transmission case. I hope that solves the problem. They say the case is poreous . Ever heard of that ?

Never heard of the transmission case being porous but it is definitely possible especially when it is an aluminum casing.
Porous means there are tiny 'pin' holes or hole in the casting. Sometimes they don't appear and cause leaks until later down the road.

well Tom it was the case the first time then it came down this time to the clamps on the tranny cooler line, both were leaking and they replaced them with a different style. So now i'm happy to say i'm dry.
