I had my PT at the dealer a couple of months ago for a starter problem. They replaced the starter under warranty. Now I am having same problem with starter again. Now warranty has expired Just wondering if they should still honor this under the previous warranty fix. I am sure that a starter should last longer than 2 months.
Any ideas or responses would be welcomed.
Thanks!

Seems like there should be a manufactures warranty on the starter.Your right that starter should last longer than 2 months. Whoever put it on isn't gonna lose any money because they are going to send it back for a refund or replacement.Good luck!!!!

Had to run to Court House on an errand and stopped by dealership on the way back and asked about the starter. They said that it was replaced in Jan. and they would honor it under the previous warranty replacement of it. So I am waiting on a call when they can schedule me for that.
Thanks for the input!

That was the only decent thing for them to do ;D That's how you get 'return business'. Hey tomdooley62, You want to join our fun group here in Charleston? The 'Palmetto PT Cruisers'. Won't cost you a thing but a big smile on your face. Send me an e-mail at tom_deb@bellsouth.net for more details. Sorry about the thread jacking but I just couldn't resist....
