Thank God I have the 7/70K warranty or this would had cost me a mint!!! Get this...before the service dept. mechanic could even START on replacing the hose ( which includes BOTH pressure & return hoses...can NOT be installed separate!) he had to: (1). Remove grill (2). Remove upper radiator hose (3).Remove battery support (4).Remove radiator fan assembly (5).Remove turbo intercooler air intake pipe Glad this was repaired (and for FREE) but a little displeased to see greasy fingerprints all over my nice chrome parts and the air intake is REALLY greasy & black now! Oh well....I guess it''s time to get under there with some degreaser & clean up the mess THEY should had cleaned up IMHO....

Glad to hear it was covered under the 7/70. Frankly, I'm surprised that a 'hose' was covered.
What was the mileage before you started seeing it leak?
I know in 04 or 05 they did away with the 7/70 warranty. Wonder if DC brought it back for 06?

I brought the car in the summer of '04, when 7/70 was still going strong, and on top of that purchased the "bumper to bumper" extension, figured with my typical bad luck I'd need it...looks like a smart decision for once in my life! The car had a little over 19K miles when this happened. I think the 7/70 warranty is history now...
