I have a 2005 PT that at about 10,000 miles developed an oil leak that has gotten worse with time. After 2 trips , and various excuses from the dealer about how "this should fix it" , I am taking it back to finally hopefully get the head gasket fixed before it becomes an internal problem. Has anyone else had a head gasket problem or any oil leaks in the rear of the engine. If so please let me know about this problem, and what you had done to fix it. I am just a little frustrated with the dealers "repairs" 1. replacing the "oil sensor" 2. torquing the head bolt 20lbs more 3. ....it better have the head gasket replaced!!!
I love this car ...but a car of any kind should not leak oil on your driveway at 10,000 miles?! ya think?

I agree, you shouldn't be having these problems. And you're the first that I've read with an issue like this.
I know is frustrating, but you're fortunate that it's still under warranty and you can force the issue for it to be fixed. Keep your paperwork. Create a paper trail so when your standard warranty runs out, you have something to fall back on should they deny repairs.

That's a first for me also hearing about that issue. Good Luck.
