Ok, this is going to sound werid but it really happened and I just wanted to make sure that it's nothing major.
Yesterday I was going to Marion and it was storming extremely bad. Tons of rain and flooding in areas. While I was driving I hit a small bump and a somewhat large drop of water fell on my right hand, which was on my gear shifter at the time. I figured maybe the sunroof got open or something and checked it...it was closed. I felt it again and noticed it was coming from the Compas/Temp display! Water was gathering between the black display and the tan plastic piece on the bottom. I wiped it off with a towel but it keep gathering for about a 40 seconds till it stopped. Everything was closed up and the roof was not wet or anything. I checked the molding around the windshield and it looks good. Any ideas where this water was coming from? I've never had it happen before.

Gary,
The sunroof may leak a little bit on really hard storms but it has drain lines that run down through the pillars on each side of the windshield. You might want to check to see if there is any blockage in the hoses by getting a flashlight and looking around the front corners of the sunroof tracks while the sunroof is open. It could be that it was raining hard enough that the water couldn't drain fast enough.
Hope this helps,
Brian

Gary More than likely, it was the combination of heavy rains, speed, blowing rain seeping through the sunroof. As Brian said, check the drains. Close the roof, and try spraying a hose at high pressure along the sunroof. Any water spots on the headliner? Or water trails? Good luck. Richard PT4U2C

I'll look at the drains. I didn't know they had them and hopefully that's all it is.
No water spots or trails anywhere. It's a crazy thing. Luckly it didn't mess up my electronics there.
