While at the Queen City Show Saturday , someone had thrown out a question about getting those stubborn spots off your windows ? I just got a new Griots Garage catalog in the mail today and they sell a product for this called glass polish . I've never tried it nor know if it works or not , but I do know this compant only sells top notch car care products . Might be worth a try . Their web site is : www.griotsgarage.com

There are several glass polishes on the market. I think Advance Auto/AutoZone/PepBoys may carry one of those brands.
Zaino makes an excellent glass polish as well which is what I use.
Only takes a couple times a year. Goes on and off like wax. Once your windows are done, you can use your spot detailer to clean and shine your windows while you're detailing the rest of the car.

Another good product is Adam's. The quick detail spray is excellent on windows and glass.

Have not used Griots glass product, but I can tell you their Speed Shine is a great detailer and their spray wax is very nice too.

I use a spray product called "Invisible Glass", that & using newspaper will work miracles on your glass on any vehicle!
