Man what a car. 11.9 at a quarter mile. At 121 mph, Dang !!!!! Like to see him matched up with the guy from Haynes speed shop. That would be one hell of a race.

Tommy Thrift's car is still around in the Virginia area. The guy he sold it to blew it up playing with the boost but has rebuilt it. Not sure what shape it's in now. I think Darrel Cox Racing had their hands in the motor and AJ up in Long Island was building a bulletproof tranny for him. I don't think it would keep up with Total Sleeper's car, especially since he has "upgraded" since his 11.9 run. Traction is his main issue now.
Also, Tommy Thrift is no longer at Haynes. I think he moved out to New Mexico to work at a Chevrolet dealership.

I stand corrected then! Where do you have 8 units? I remember the other day, 2 visors, 4 in the headrests, 1 in the headunit. I guess you have one in the rear hatch too? How does anybody ride behind the rear seats with the sub back there? |
