Anyone running any chips for their Cruisers? I want a little more power from mine.

Have always wondered about the Stage 1 and Stage 2 performance chip put out by Jet. But at over $200 its too expensive just to try out to see if it works without knowing for sure.

The forums have mixed views about these chips. At $200 I'd double up and get Stage 1. It's proven, reliable, and the performance is validated everywhere. Given the PT engine design there are only so many mods(short of rebuilding...pistons, head, crank, cam etc.) to obtain more power. Technically, an engine is an air pump--more air, more fuel more power to a point. The chip can only work with the engine as it's built.

I assumed the question was about chips for N/A Cruisers not Turbo's like many of you have. Anyway, does anyone have experience with the chips for non-turbo?

Tony:
I have the '01 still and I believe these chips are like all of the the so-called gas saving devices---not worth the price. PTDIY, Cruiser Links, and other sites have n othing positive to say about them.
