We have a member of our club asking if any of us know how to get to the battery and remove it. If any of you have had to do this, I would appreciate hearing what you had to do. I am assuming that it is more complicated than one would expect. I sure do hope that you don't have to "pull the engine" or something like that ;D I have heard that changing the spark plugs is something like that.
Thanks for any help Carrol Amerson Roanoke

Carrol:
Fairly easy to do: 1 remove air box from intake 2 remove NEGATIVE cable first(12mm nut, I think) 3 remove POSITIVE cable 4 Remove battery tie down bar(turbo) or brackets(nonturbo) 5 Remove battery and battery jacket 6 Install in reverse order--if replacement is Mopar or equivalent. Some have used Optima battery without jacket, and may have have different tie-down brackets.
Hope this helps

Thanks Richard, Looks pretty simple to me. Without looking at mine this morning, I thought if there was some special procedure we better find out. I will forward to our member needing the info.
