If any likes the chrome mesh look that some grilles have then instead of buying one at Auto Zone for $80 or more just go to Lowes Hareware and get a gutter mesh cover. It's only costs around $1.50 or $3 depending on size and it looks just as good. It's shiny and strong just like the expenive one. It bends easy so it will fit anywhere. I used it on my sister's no-good-ricer a couple of years ago and it is still looking good.

Took me a few days to find it 'cause the picture was on my home computer (and I wasn't home). We had a guy at the Zoo Cruise last year that put that mesh behind his stock grill. Actually looked good, better than this photo does. Don't recall how he fastened down but it was no big deal and not a lot of work. If I'm not mistaken, it was just that extruded or expanded aluminum like what you top your gutters with like Gary said.

I remembered that grill myself Ric, it did look good. I've also still got some of the gutter covers in my shed. I was, at least for me, harder than it looked

As I understand, removing the top grill is real simple, just a few bolts. You may have to get on the ground to work on the lower part of the grill.

Removal of the grille is easy. Takes about 2 mintues. 4 screws hold the top. Take those out and then push the grille downward and then pull out. The tabs will release and the grille comes off.
The mesh was easy to install. What I did was cut it about 2 or 3 inches bigger than what I was covering. There was a small lip near the back of her air dam and I folded the mesh around this area. Then I drilled some small holes and used nuts and bolts to fasten it together. Here's how it was connected:
Nut, Mesh, Plastic (Bumper), Mesh, bolt.
I wrapped it around twice as you can see so that the mesh is tight in the spot and won't move. Looks really good. I'll try to get a pic of it.
That Cruiser is awesome looking. That's the first one I've seen with that and I've thought about doing it to mine and I might try it now.

Does it seem to effect the temp of radiator. Just wondering cause it looks like it would block some air flow.
Looks like I`ll be going to Lowes this weekend to get me some mesh.

I don't think it would block that much. The holes are bigger that it looks in most pictures.

I also saw that car at the Zoo Cruise and spoke with the owner about it because it looked so good . He said it was gutter guard and it wasn't too difficult to install . He did say the lower grill was much tougher to get to and will test your patience a little , and he also said he has had no higher temps on his gauge since he installed it . When I first walked up to the car it looked like a high dollar aftermarket insert . Never seen such a good use of inexpensive material .

I just did a cheap mod to the reverse lights on my elec. blue GT. I bought some vinyl from a sign shop and totally covered the reverse lights in the vinyl , then I cut out the vinyl so the reverse lights wouldn't be covered up. I cut it out in a shape that complemented the "GT" emblem on the tailgate. I'll try to get some pics up soon. $5 for the vinyl. Really cleans up the rear fascia. I no longer have the red reflectors showing, so hopefully it won't be an issue at inspection time. If they say anything about it, I'll stick some reflective tape in an inconspicuous place under the rear bumper.

To make your neons brighter: Clean under you car really good and get all the dirt off as much as you can. Then get some really sticky silver reflecting tape and tape a few strips behind and beside the neon tubes on the car body. These will reflect the glow off the tape and force it downward to the ground. Alot of wasted light hits the bottom of the car when it can be reflected back to the ground this way. Big roll costs a few bucks.
Change your bulb color: AutoZone has what they call Gel Caps. They are color plastic caps that fit over your interior and backup lights. They look cool and are cheap. A pack costs around $1 to $3.

Xenon Kit Owners:
I also did a cheap mods on my Bruizer front. I posted it in another part but it fits here good. I got some scrap yellow vinal sticker from a place here for $2. I did a crayon rub on the XENON imprint on the bottom of my Bruizer front. I then carbon-copy traced the crayon rubbing onto the vinal and cut it out. Then I put the letters into each impression and trimmed them up. The yellow looks great in the blue as a contrast. Lots of people have asked me if it was paint but is surprised when I tell them I did it out of vinal.
