Does anyone have a problem with there headlights flickering ever so slightly at night. Mine does this with or without ac on. They flicker so quickly that it is almost not noticeable BUT I NOTICE IT and it drives me crazy.
Any similar problems? I noticed in the repair manual it refrences somthing like this might take that page with me to dealer.Hmmmnnn wonder if this has anything to do with the hesitation or stuttering of engine thats going on

Me too but I thought it was caused by paint fumes

YES--I have the same condition. In fact, I believe it is characteristic of the non-turbo PT's. I think there is a thread about this on either PT cruiser links, or PTDIY sites. I do, however, believe that Franks's is due to paint fumes!!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone,

Mine does it just driving along.
I really thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Every now and then, they'll very quickly, get just a bit dimmer, then back. Asfar as I can tell, there's no rythem to it. Just every once in a while.....

I read somewhere that it is related to a 'grounding' problem. Most people notice it the split second you let off the accelerator quickly coming to a stop. The resolution is to disconnect the ground straps under the hood and sand off the paint where the strap attaches to the body. That way, the ground strap is in contact with bare metal instead of paint.
