Talked to my daugher Lori, last night and my grandson was attacked by a dog. He is OK, thank goodness. But, he lost a tooth, cuts on this neck and chest, bite marks in his mouth, almost clean through his check and a swollen face. He's only 10 years old, yet a trooper. No stitches, just antibiotics. The dog was only a puppy, of a neighbor. The neighbor will be putting the dog down after the 10 day incubation period. She fears for her own children. He has played with the dog in the past, so who knows. You never know how a dog might react. So please be careful. A very close friend of mine is still undergoing facial surgery from a dog attack. She was very familar with the dog and until this day (1 1/2 years later) does not completely understand why it happened.

This may sound profound, but, we as a society find ways to retaliate(when we feel threatened), guess dogs have too! We feel threatened, so we do things we might not normally do. Suppose aniamls fell the same way?
Sad, isn't it?
Just glad, my grandson was not hurt any worse.
Thanks Rick for the blog, can tell it will be used to it's full potential! ;D Pam

Pam...........Wow, sorry to hear about your grandson's ordeal. That had to have been terrifying to him.
I can just imagine what Lori went through......and you, because I have grandkids myself.
Glad he's OK now.
