WTB 2001 DASH

I NEED A TAUPE DASH FOR A 2001 PT. IT SEEMS THIS HEAT DID'NT LIKE MY CAR AND MY DASH SPLIT RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE!!!!SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME

You are talking about the top dash pad right?

Well the first thing I'd do is run it by the dealership and say, hey this car's only 6 years old and I don't think this should happen to a car that is only 6 years old and see what they say. Never hurts to try............

If that fails check out www.dashboardrestorations.com and they can more than help you. I have seen them on a feature segment on "My Classic Car" and they do nice work. 360-892-4075 and they are in Washington State and have about a 4 week turnaround if memory serves me.

Or pull your dash pad off and take it to a well known interior shop and see what they can do for you.

Call some junk yards.................

thanks tried the dealership and chrysler corp and they both said tuff luck. I am still looking!!!!!

mine cracked right at the defrost vent so I got the good ole dash cover to do the hide job couldn't find a replacement for it and yup Chrysler and dealer also said to bad so sad.

I read on another PT forum 'somewhere' that this is an issue now with many Cruiser owners.
A lot of folks are now seeing dash problems.

I know with our 2006 PT it appears that Chrysler made an improvement with the dash material.
In fact I've never seen a dash made like the ones on the 06, 07, and I assume the 08 models.
It basically looks like a harder and more durable material.

Have found a bunch of wrecked pt's near where I live I am going back over there after Christmas and see how many dashes and door panels there are and how much they cost would you like for me to see if there is a 2001 dash that is not damaged when I go if so send me an email and I will be glad to there are some pictures of some of the ones in the junk yard I found the guy that is the manager let me go and take pictures one morning and they are on the web site under kruzinl8go and take a look and let me know

Brandy, could you check to see if there are any sail panels for the doors? This is the little triangular panel behind the door mirrors on the inside of the doors. Kinda near the defroster vnts for the side windows.

You could cover it with a dash mat from PT Boutique. I have one, it fits great and my dash isn't cracked.
