Started my car to head home yesterday in Charlotte's wonderful rush hour traffic and as I left parking lot I noticed car ran rough with slight miss. After less than block the check engine light came on ,then 15-20 secs later it started to flash and a chime sounded> I pulled over and cut it off for few seconds then restarted> the same happened.I returned to my job parking lot and called my dealer who advised don't drive it with flashing check lamp.Since I live approx.45 miles from work and travel I-77 and I-85.I am glad it didn't wait 10 minutes. The dealer had Enterprise rental to come get me and hook me up with a rental for a loaner and this morning I had the car towed. The dealer called and stated that the "code " showed #6 for miss on #2 cylinder and that there was a Service Bulletin to replace The spark plugs and spark plug wires with "updated " set. I picked the car up this afternoon and it ran great all the way home. The invoice showed new plugs and ignition wire set.Great service from Richard at keffer Chrysler on E.Independence in Charlotte after bummer problem.

Glad all came out OK with that Butch. My light came on but didn't flash, turned out to be an EGR valve. If you ever need a lift to/from Keffer, I live off Harris between I-85 and Independence. Give me a call.
