We met today at Neuwirth Motors for the inagural Coastal Carolina PT Cruiser Club meeting. Thanks to all the great "family" of Cruisers that made the trip. Official final count was 35 Cruisers. 18 of those were "locals" counting Wally & Kathy and me. Had a good time, and the dealership was very excited about the turnout. They are ready to get things rolling for something big. I have mentioned to them that something in conjunction with the Azalea Festival in April might be a good choice. Again, thak-you to all that traveled near and far to help us out. ;D

Wish I could have made it, glad you all had a great time. Right now, I'm ready to go to bed (9:30) to hit the road to Columbus OH around 6:00am.
Anyone with any pictures they would like to have on the website, I've already created a page for it on the "Cruise-In" page. Email them to me and I'll get them on there. I'll be in a hotel WITHOUT high speed so if you could reduce the size to 800x600 or less, I would appreciate it.

Sorry James and I couldn't be there. I just had foot surgery and I'm learning how to get around on crutches. It sounds like everyone had a wonderful time and I can't wait to see pictures. sandy petree

CCPTC website has been updated with "event photos" at coastalcarolinaptcruisers.ptenthusiasts.net/index.htmlI also want to thank everyone who were able to make it to Wilmington and to those who "wanted to" but had other obligations. Sure was fun! (ps; Rocky and Rick, saved you a Dash Plaque each and two hotdogs)

I will verify that he saved them, I saw him stuff the hot dogs in his pocket. They did fall on the floor once, but he dusted them off before he put them in his pocket. Rocky and Rick, do wish you guys could have made it but we all understand how work can sometimes get in the way of fun. See you guys soon. Let me know and I can see about getting a couple buns to go with the dogs.

I'm hoooome! Tony & Becky, Wally & Kathy, and anyone else that helped to put this event together, including Neuwirth Chrysler dealership for sponsoring the event, CONGRATULATIONS! What a huge success! Guys & Gals, I think you could have knocked the GM at the dealership over with a feather! Just goes to show, PT folks are the best! Everyone needs to plan an event just once to realize all the hard work, anxiety, and lost sleep you will encounter along the way. But when you see everyone having such a great time tends to erase the months of worry.
Tony & Becky, special thanks and hugs for your southern hospitality! I felt like the pampered princess all weekend long! I look forward to returning the hospitality when you come to the mountains of TN.
I don't have my pics posted yet but hope to have them up later tonight. Here's the link, just check back by later. community.webshots.com/user/rallen9133

We'd like to thank Tony, Becky, Wally and anyone else that took part in organizing the Wilmington Meet & Greet. We'd also like to thank Neuwirth Chrysler for their hospitality. We had a great time visiting with our P.T. friends and enjoyed meeting some new P.T. folks. Dean thinks this should be called the Wilmington Meet, Greet and Eat. First we had hot dogs & soda at the dealership, followed by hamburgers & fries at P.T.'s Grille, and for the lucky ones who could attend we had an evening Meet & Eat at Smoky Bones. The menu consisted of ribs, steak, sausage, baked beans, etc. So when in Wilmington you can count on Tony to show you a good time and make sure you're well fed. ;D ;D Thanks again. P.S. - We did get to "Taste of Country" Sunday afternoon after cruizing to Southport in the morning.
