There is a great place for burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches and such in Wilmington called PT's Old Fashion Grille. I thought it would be a good place for a late lunch on Saturday. We will have hotdogs and cokes at the dealership but I am not much on hot dogs myself so I will probably be hungry about 3 or so. How many of you guys might be interested in stopping there for a bite to eat? ;D

Hey Tony & Becky! With a name like PT's, it can't be all bad! I love a really good hotdog, but the trick is finding a really good hot dog, so PT's sounds like a plan! ;D I won't be doing supper that night. I used to live down there and will visiting with a couple of old friends. But if you want some really great seafood, you gotta check out The Oceanic, over on Wrightsville Beach. www.oceanicrestaurant.com/oceanic_restaurant.htm Triste and I eat there almost every chance we get! ( Yeah, I know I'm missing a chance Sat. And if I ate there w/o Triste, it WOULD cost me dearly! ) Tom

PT's does not have ice cream, but there are several ice cream places close. They do have good hot dogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches and some fantastic fries though. Oceanic is really good, though it will probably be slammed with customers. We certainly could try it or one of the others though. For anyone coming in Friday afternoon or early evening there is a place called Smokey Bones that has some good barbeque and ribs. They also do steaks and chicken. Tom can tell you , there are quite a few choices of places to eat here.

Kathy and I plan to eat at The Taste OF Country. Good old country style food and all you can eat, ask Tony. ;D

You know I love Taste of Country. Lots of food for a reasonable price. If you others have not experienced it, it is worth the visit. Just a look at my size and you can tell I've been there quite a few times. Hey Dean, be careful there though, I was 150 pounds when I first started going there.

Hey everyone driving in, please drive safely and we look forward to seeing you. Wally and I met with the dealership yesterday, they are excited about us being there. We also found out that there is a jazz and blues festival all weekend long downtown and at the Battleship. Think a cruise to downtown and over to the battleship might be in order.
