Thanks Becky, no problem as I'll be representing the RED PT's.
Weather says around 80 and cloudy. Rain is expected Saturday evening.
Just got back from the fire station where the bar-be-que is cookin'. They won't let me do any cookin' but "let me" wash the fire trucks.....the RED fire trucks.
See ya'll tomorrow.

We had an even dozen cruisers at the Kelly parade. It was fun, and Becky your red was represented well. Dean & Kathy even added plenty of bows. There were three new members there with their cruisers.

We had a great time at the Kelly Spring Fest 2005. Thanks Wally and Kathy for inviting the PTs. You even arranged some nice weather. The PTers that missed this event sure missed a great parade that took place in nice country setting. It is not often that you see a parade with beauty queens, 4 wheelers, race cars, horses, old farm tractors and of course a dozen great looking PTs. The BBQ pork and fried chicken was great not to mention the funnel cakes. See a few photos at this link. www.imagestation.com/album/index.html?id=2127417428

Aw gee! I wanted to be there! That looks like such fun! But duty called. I went to Bryson City today in the pouring rain, paid for the group to ride the train at Cruise The Smokies and even took the train ride to see what we can expect. I had a wonderful surprise when I arrived.... the Rooster was there and rode the train with me! Let me tell you, y'all are in for a great time at Cruise the Smokies! See y'all soon!

Dean & I really enjoyed the Kelly parade. It was great seeing our P.T. friends and meeting new ones. Nice pictures Dolan. Hey Becky in TN - no mention of how decked out we were for the parade with our bows. I told Tony you'd be proud of us. We're sorry we can't make the Cruise the Smokies trip, but hope everyone has a wonderful time.

Those bows are gorgeous!!! Where did you get them? Did you make them? I want some! Wally, do you know the date for the Kelly Festival next year? I want it to be the first event on my 2006 calendar!

Becky - a lady that owns a restaurant near us makes these bows. Ours are red, white & blue with some silver (chrome look) thrown in. The large ones run about $15 and smaller ones about $7.50 each. Would be happy to order some for you if you decide you'd like them. Have fun in the Smokies!

Hey Dean and Kathy - nice photos . I tried to stay in line but I was busy taking pictures with one hand, driving with one hand and passing out peanuts with the other hand. Oh, thats three hands. ;D No wonder I was out of line.
