My personal thanks to EVERYONE who came out and participated on our Santa Cruise In yesterday. As a result, we filled up the back of two Dodge Rams with Toys for Tots PLUS we raised $1200 to buy some more toys. My experience tells me that $1200 will become $1600 when I get to the toy store and tell them why I am there!
I especially want to thank those of you who worked HARD to provide door prizes, raffle prizes, food, and drinks to make it such a nice event! Many of you worked very quietly behind the scenes. Also, we owe a great big thank you to Hayes Chrysler in Oakwood for giving us a place to hold the event and providing a lot of logistical support and all the free t-shirts!
All total, we had 39 cars register including three from out of state: Mike Wright came in from North Carolina, Beverly Green (mylilcruz) came in from Alabama, and Sue Walton came in from Alabama. Thank you for coming so far to be a big part of our show!
