As far as I know, me, Richard, John, Tony and Petey will be leaving Wal-mart in Siler City around 7:00. Don't know what time that puts us in Newton Grove. Meeting at McDonalds sounds ok to me. I'd like to get there for the parade if possible. Hey Tony, this sound ok with you?

I'll be coming in on a different route. I'm meeting up with Don somewhere on Hwy 74 near Laurinburg I think. We do need a meeting place around Kelly and a drop-dead time.

For Saturday at Kelly.......
If you get to Kelly before 10:30 come to Wally's home at 21557 Hwy 53....that's East of Kelly, very near the Hwy 210 intersection. Look for a two story grey farm house/3-car garage off the highway about 500 foot.
If you get here at 10:30 go to the "staging area" for the parade on Hwy 53 just West of Kelly...look for the old cars and firetrucks.
If you get here after 10:30 you'll be stuck in traffic as they shutdown the highway for the parade until it clears, then go to the fairgrounds on Hwy 53....look for the people. Guides at the grounds will direct you to our space for the PT show....and all PT's get to show, stock or not.
Folks here are expecting you.

mapquest is saying 1.45 hours from newton grove to wally's house, but it's also saying only 68 miles so i'm thinking it won't take that long unless we end up in a traffic jam! what time are we shooting for to meet at mcd's??

Mapquest also says its about 93 miles from Siler City to Newton Grove; not quite 2 hours. If we leave Siler City at 7:00, we should be there in time for the parade. Looks like we would hit Newton Grove around 9:00 or close to it. Thats IF we run the speed limit. ;D

We will do our best. Traffic should not be bad that early (I hope).
