oh my gosh!!! you aren't going to believe....well maybe you are going to believe....i told ethienne after the last get together that i wanted my own pt and......i got a....yep, i can hardly contain myself...i have my own [glow=red,2,300]PT Cruiser[/glow] !!

A 2-PT family . . . . . you'll be the envy of the neighborhood.
Of course, the downside is you two will be spending a lot more money on gas when going to PT events having to drive BOTH vehicles.

if you didn't get to see a better pic of the new patriot blue...i posted pics i took this morning at ptcruizzing.netfirms.com ..ethienne says one of the pics looks like a model PT toy on display...yerpalal, please be forgiving of the graphics! lol

yes i got it alan!! i was gone most of the day yesterday and am just getting to emails this morning! our hwy mileage coming back from mb was 29mph!! - the mpg rate for 2002TEPT - 19-25mph autotran. we didn't notice the change though until he installed the airintake system....he's been averaging 2-3mpg more city. over time it'll pay off but the initial cost for the muffler/installation and airintake (self installation) was $198 so after roughly 140gallons it'll have paid for itself (about 12- 12gal fillups). but that wasn't his motivation - the looks were!! lol

This item does not interest me from the standpoint of looks, but from economy. Thanks for the answer, I will get back to you later for more info.

LOL!! For the most part I agree, Rocky, but in this case the looks is not the prime interest, it is the economy. 'sides, I have already started on the looks end of it, just wait until the next event I can get too.  Ah, but we digress. This thread is about Dee's new PT, not mine, and I happen to know the young lady has already made her first "mod". Maybe if we ask real nice she will share what she did . . . . . |
