If you all don't know who the "Band of Gold" is, they are the morning DJ's from Oldies 96.1 in Charlotte. Schaffer and the Eggman and all the others on the morning team formed a band and play oldies. They are real good. Eggman used to have a PT Cruiser, he still may, not sure.

So, is this something that some of us should attend in a group? I live in Gastonia and could get to that easy enough. What does everyone think?

Sounds like fun but it also sounds like an ad to get people on the lot. Where they say vintage and hot rod cars on display looks like they will have an area roped off for cars they choose rather than people off the street (like us) wanting to show their car. Don't think they would want a FORD lot full of Chrysler PT Cruisers. We still might go 'cause we like the Band of Gold a lot.

If you guys want to show I could stop by and ask them, even if they say no we could meet and drive in and park together. I am going to be out of town from Wed until friday, so I need to know!!! What is funny is there sign in front of the dealership about friday night has a used PT flamed parked beside it for advertisement!!!! I started to stop and take a picture and post.

Just talked to Susie about it and I think we may go to it. Not to show or anything but just for the Band of Gold. They're on Hwy 74 aren't they?

Yes they are on 74, you should exit on cox rd off of 85 , turn left , go to first intersection (hwy 74 turn right, half mile on left). We could meet just before you get to 74 , there is a steak place (Longhorn) and behind that is (Media Play) we could meet in that parking lot!!! (if you want)
