 I have been looking at another barbque place near Greensboro. One is in Burlington and the other is in Graham. They are owned by the same family. Hursey's Pig-Pickin' Bar-B-Q. The one in Burlington is about 110 miles from Roanoke and the other in Graham is 125 miles. Its about 108 from Charlotte. 108or so from Goldsboro. I was hoping we could do another trip next month around the 18th. If anyone is interested let me know and we'll get it started. Incase no one knew barbque is one of my favorite foods in the world. Pork rules. The other white meat. My name is Dean for those of you that might not know me. Kathy and I live in Goldsboro and we love these types of cruises. we're in as well if the timing is right. I love BBQ. My triglycerides not so much. I travel a lot and will try BBQ places just about everywhere I go. FOund some decent stuff and some not so decent stuff. So far, a place in Atlanta and one in Miami are at the bottom of the list.

YUmmmm BBQ!!! Sounds good to me. I just had hernia surgery last Thursday and not moving too well right now, but maybe by the 18th I'll be up for the ride. Cabin fever is already working on me so by then I know I'll need to get out for any reason, and what better than good BBQ!!  |

We want to be at Hursey's restaurant at 1834 S. Church St., Burlington, NC, between 11:30 & 12:00 on Sat., Aug. 18th. After lunch we're thinking of going to the Alamance Historical Museum which is about 5 miles from the restaurant. That would give us a chance to cruise together and then have some visiting time at the museum. There are a few things in life I love. I love my god, my wife , my son, family and friends. I also love Bar-B-Que. If there ia away to combine any or all ofthe above I'm there. Finding good friends is not easy, they come along every now and then. Since Kathy and I became PT-Cruisers we have met some of the best people in the world. We are honored to call these people our friends. Now if we can eat good BBQ and see our friends at the same time that would put the icing on the cake. I realize the up coming months will be busy for most of our friends. If we can get set a date once a month to go to another BBQ joint or some other type would be fine with me. What ever you all would like to do. Aug. and Sept. seems like the last two month to do anything for the rest of the year, with RTTB and Thanksgiving, and Christmas coming up. Starting in Jan. I hope we can do more of these meet and Greets. If you share the same passion for friends and food lets get this thing going. Let me know what you all think.

Talk to the folks at Hursey's today about the up coming road trip. They said there is no problem with the number I have given them so far and there shouldn't be a problem with any number. She said for me to call them on the 17th with the number of folks that might be coming. She also said they can push some tables together so we all can sit at the same table. So please let me know by thursday the 16th if you are planning to attend the second Bar-B-Que road trip. Thanks all
