For those that joined up the Deep South Mopar Club and or went to the Tilted Kilt show a few weeks ago, they are doing another one in September. He's only taking the first 120 cars registered. Lets make a PT presence. They already have almost 40 cars signed up in just a week.

OK so we are meeting Gena/Matt at the Bi-Lo on South Tryon. If you Google Map it, the Plaza has Walmart, Lowes, 7-11 and Bi Lo. The Bi-Lo actually comes out on Arrowwood Rd. which is easier to come out of to head to Tilted Kilt. We will meet at 9:30AM and leave by 9:40 so if you want to park with the PT's try to be there 9:30....  |

Unless my flight gets canceled which US Air says anything possible with the mass confusion with everyone at the DNC leaving, Wayne and I may be there earlier. Seems most of the other groups are shooting to be there around 9:00/9:15 to claim their spots.

Hot...OMG...hot and humid. Miserable. But some really decent Mopars there. More classic and older stuf this go around. Had 8 PT's there competeing in the "FWD" (front wheel drive) class.
Scott and Susan won best paint and it was. All other cars were basically stock paint colors and schemes. Theirs really stood out. Wayne won best FWD over all other PT's and Neon's. TOUCHE' !
Amazing how they still get confused between FWD and 4WD. They announced Wayne as his PT winning the FOUR WHEEL DRIVE class.
