Robin,
Sherri & I will be coming down 226 and can meet you at the intersection of 180 and 226 around 09:45. The Flying J is about another 20 to 30 minutes down 198. It is on the right side of 198 at I-85.

I'm ready, went and bought long johns yesterday! lol... Hey Roger, will be great to see you two again! Hope you had a wonderful Xmas!
Hey if you guys are coming down that way, I can meet you at 64 and 226 and we can go 64 to 221 and on down? From that intersection to the Beacon is just at an hour's drive, but the way I drive maybe an hour and a half (stupid site seer...lol) or if it's raining about 45 minutes (haha). Might be easier than taking 226 all the way down and is the same drive timewise for me to go that route.

High on Saturday ......mid-20's. You gotta heat wave goin at 43 ;D I suppose it's all relative. I was in the Miami area in December on biz. It got down to a "bone-chilling" 53 degrees one night. They had coats and gloves on like we do when it's in the 30's. Really, I saw people with gloves on. I had a short sleeve shirt on, they thought I was crazy or from up north. I suppose in Miami, about everything is "up north".

Robin,
We will be coming down 18 into Shelby and stopping at Hardee's about 09:15. Then on down to 226, to 180, to 198 to the Flying J. That way is shorter distance for us. If you are coming down 150 to 180, we can meet you at 226 and 180. From there, it is only about 20 to 30 minutes to the Flying J. We are planning on bringing "PatrioT". Hope to see you there.

Will do, not sure I'm going to be able to wash the PT tomorrow, or well, today now, as it's going to be so cold, but I'm going to at least clean the inside. I'll map it out later and set up to meet you guys there at 226 & 180!
Stopped at Gander Mountain and got me some thermals, so hopefully I won't freeze my rear end off..lol

I have some Giveaways supplied by Jack Salzman of Lake Norman CJD and wanted to see if there was any interest from the group. I have around 100 T-shirts from the FFA event here, in L and XL only, and about 20 small backpack bags. Here's pics of them: I'll be bringing them with me so if you're interested, look for the silver PT with black vert top!

We had a great time at the Beacon Pam. Glad you raised some money for JC's Glaucoma Foundation. Met some new folks, chatted with everyone I think. Spammed everyone for the Cruising for a Cure III show. Ate way to much A-Plenty. All in All a pretty good day.
