Meant to post this earlier....tomorrow is the Lenoir Downtoen Cruise-In. And they will be having a few visitors from down east.
Dean & Kathy and Dolan & Lena will be visiting Lenoir for this cruise. If you get a chance to hit it to Lenoir, I can assure you it's a very neat cruise in.
Go meet up with everyone and have a great time. I would be there but have relatives in from Texas we're meeting up with.

I wish I could make one of these...I grew up in Granite Falls, just between Hickory and Lenoir...I really miss that part of the state.

They shut down the streets for the Cruisers at 4:00pm. Roger & Sherry who help coordinate this cruise will be in the "square" area. Meet up with them and they'll get the PT's parked together.

The Lenoir Cruise-In was great! They had about 400 cars.
Definitely worth the ride out there. Enjoyed seeing Sherri and Roger.
We stayed at the Comfort Inn Sherri recommended (nice place),
and reasonably priced. Dolan and Lena are spending a few days
in the mountains before heading home. We stopped by Grandfather
Mountain this morning (an hour away from Lenoir) and Boone this
afternoon. Beautiful scenary and great shopping. They don't have
any Lenoir cruise-ins in September, but will start back in October.
Would recommend going.

Thanks to Dean & Kathy and Dolan & Lena for coming to see us in Lenoir! We enjoyed having the visit and seeing you all. We hope you enjoyed the cruise in. Congratulations to Dolan & Lena for the longest distance traveled. They got a few goodies for all that driving. It was a great night even though we had some much needed rain. Lena and I enjoyed the Lenoir Cruise In. Lots of really nice cars and trucks. And some good food in the restuarants downtown where the cars park. Sherri and Roger and the others that put this event on really do a great job getting the vechicles in and parked. The cooler weather in the mountains was nice also.
