Anyone planning on going to the big cruise in at Cannon Village. I know Gary`s going with us. I am hoping to get some PTers down there this time to show them what we`ve got! Oh yeah, it`s on the 1st saturday of next month!

Yeah, this is really one neat car cruise in. It shouldn't be missed. The one coming up this Saturday should be a good one. Weather is supposed to be great and that will bring the cars out. There is another big car show across from Lowes Motor Speedway that same day but it ends at 3:00pm. You can bet that many of these cars will head for Cannon Village after that. So if anyone is planning on going and wants a good place to park, you will probably need to be there by then. Officially it starts at 6:00pm at Cannon Village but my guess you have to be there by 2 or 3 to get any kind of parking place.
I will not be there this time. Saturday is the last planning committee day for the Return To The Beach V thing and I'll be at the beach for the day.
This cruise-in at Cannon Village has gained so much popularity so quickly that it has been extended through December. So this will be happening the first Saturday of November and December as well.

:oWe would like to go also. I have to work until 12 noon. We could be ready to leave around 1pm and could meet everyone near Cannon Village before 3pm. Are we all going to try and go in together? Let us know - looking forward to cruising with everyone again! ;D ;D

I am thinking about going to the car show at the speedway Saturday morning, but I`ll decide for sure by the end of the week, we`ll meet up, and cruise in together

I hate to say it but I won't be able to go this time. I did get my car back and everything is working fine, I just have other plans that came up. I hope to attend one of these saturday night shows soon. Maybe the next one will work out better.

We have one word for the Cruise-In at Cannon Village [glow=red,2,300]TEXT[/glow]AWESOME![glow=red,2,300]TEXT[/glow] We arrived around 4pm and it was unbelievable at the vehicles that were already there. We were lucky and got a great parking place close to the Visitor's Center in the middle of all the action. We were having a great time and then a rain shower came. It rained hard for about 30 minutes and then the sun came back out. After cleaning up the PT we had a wonderful time for the rest of the night. We saw only a few PTs, most drove through and didn't stay long. Maybe more can go in Nov. Here are some pics - enjoy! ;D ;D community.webshots.com/album/195348267yLnoPC

David & I also drove down to Cannon Village Saturday night. It broght back lots of memories of cruising Main Street in High Point in my Z28 when I was a teenager, except these cars were alot nicer. There was even a guy riding around in a coffin. The homemade banana ice cream was wonderful, and they sell really cool t-shirts for this event at the visitor center. We had a great time and are planning on being there again next month.

I hate we couldn`t make it down there. We took off to Myrtle Beach for the last weekend of bike week. I didn`t take my Harley, but I must say the bikers loved Showtime! We had some real fans! It was awesome, I told them wait till the big crowd of us rolls in, we gonna take the beach by storm!
